Foresthill Library News – June

School is out and it’s time for the Children’s Summer Reading Program.
This popular program has more than 70 Participants this year. The children sign up to read thirty  over the summer. When they read 15 books a prize is awarded. When all 30 have been completed, another prize is given.
What is better than reading a good book on a lazy summer afternoon?
Adults have not been forgotten either. Each week new works of fiction and non-fiction are being delivered.
Keep checking out the new arrivals.

The booksale on June 11th was successful and Friends wishes to thank   the community for their continued support and for giving homes to these wonderful works.  The proceeds from these sales support the reading program by purchasing the books and prizes for the event.

Don’t forget our first program of the summer.
